Colchester United

At Colchester United, I am part of the small media team that controls the day-to-day running of the ColU website and social media pages. Drafted in to help out on home match days, my role varies during every shift. I could be required to help monitor and control the big screen inside the Jobserve Community stadium or run the Twitter, Facebook and Instagram pages. 

More frequently I put together match reports that are published on the website and spend time in the pressbox with other journalists and ad-hoc guests. Finally, I have spent time in the studio producing and recording the weekly show that is broadcast to fans. This includes interviews with players and managers as well as highlights, camera pieces and lineup graphics. 

Some of the key skills I have picked up during my time at Colchester have included video editing and producing, social media management, networking, writing and editing.
