LiveScore

My Role

At LiveScore I spent nearly 3 years working across the media department, primarily as an Editorial Content Executive. My day-to-day involved writing and editing a handful of digital pieces to be published on the LiveScore app and website. Opportunities often popped up to take the lead on exclusive interviews and roundtables, with journalists, authors and ex-football players such as Jay-Jay Okocha, Wes Brown, Ossie Ardiles and Jess Carter.

On weekend and evening shifts, I was in control of the entire site and news section of the app, working with other writers to maintain a steady flow of articles and ensure things were constantly updated as matches were being played.

The key skills I acquired at LiveScore included writing, editing, publishing, CMS management, social media management, scheduling, negotiating, working in a team, researching, problem solving, transcribing, interviewing and reporting.
